What are Geo-Targeted Banner Ads?
Through its publisher network, the ReachLocal advertising platform is also able to place ads on thousands of other sites across the Internet AND can limit the display of those ads to only those people living within the geographic areas you want to target with your advertising. These ads are integrated directly into the content of those sites and can either be text-based or graphical in nature. Currently, ReachLocal has partnered with Advertising.com, which operates an advertising network that reaches more than 140 million unique users each month. Unlike search engine ads and yellow pages listings, geo-targeted banner ads are not displayed based on specific customer searches. Instead, as with newspaper display advertising, these ads can be targeted to sites focusing on specific categories (the equivalent of a newspaper section – e.g. sports, business) and geographies (the equivalent of a newspaper edition – e.g. Orange County, Los Angeles County).

If you have an existing banner ad, you may upload that. Or, you may create a banner ad through the ReachLocal advertising platform.
